- I have a TLP Intellicharger too, but not the same model. I've been using it for 2 years now and think its a great piece of kit. I agree with you though, that the consistant BEEPing is very annoying, but I charge my batteries out in my garage, so I dont notice it.
Plugging in the battery will automatically start 'Slow' charge. Hit the button once (I cant actually remember what colour the button is (IMG:http://www.airsoftireland.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif) ), will set it to 'Fast' charge, and hitting it a second time will set it to 'Discharge'.
Once your battery has been fully discharged, the charger will automatically put the battery back onto 'Slow' charge for maximum performance. I usually set it to discharge then leave it 24hrs until it is fully charged up again (im using an 8.4 3700mah large battery btw). But yes, once it sets itself back to 'Slow' charge, there is the consistant BEEP every 4 seconds, but as I said, that doesnt matter much to me.
Setting the charger to 'Fast' charge will take the BEEP away, but will not give your battery its maximum performance, and thus will only take approximatley 3-4hrs to charge.
And about the knob with the different 'amp' settings on it... i've got no idea how to use that. I always keep it at its lowest and let my batterys charge for 24hrs on slow charge.
Hope that helps mate.
